In remarks representing the organizing committee, Wale Joseph explained that the Lagos Supremacy Cup was established to provide a rigorous competitive environment for grassroots-level clubs to demonstrate their capabilities and strengthen community bonds through the sport.
“This represents far more than a standard tournament. As the epicenter of Nigerian football, Lagos deserves to reclaim its championship status. The Supremacy Cup will offer emerging athletes visibility, enable clubs to measure their competitive standing, and deliver four days of exceptional football entertainment. Our collective passion will lead us to glory,” Wale Joseph remarked.
