Okpara FC Survive Agbai Scare in Penalty Thriller
At the Legacy Pitch, FC Agbai and FC Okpara produced another captivating encounter. Agbai came into the second leg holding a slender 1-0 advantage and strengthened their position with an early goal.
However, Okpara responded in style. Alo Deji converted from the penalty spot in the 29th minute before Irekanmi Chris weaved his way past Habeeb Azeez to score before halftime and hand Okpara the lead.
Just after the restart, Deji converted his second penalty of the match in the 46th minute to make it 3-1 on the day. Agbai refused to surrender and pulled one back in the 78th minute through Lateef Kazeem, who reacted quickest in a crowded penalty area to score.

The drama continued at the same venue as FC Dominic overturned a first-leg deficit against FC Akanni.
Akanni entered the match with a 1-0 advantage and extended their lead through Hanif Sanusi in the fifth minute after capitalising on a defensive lapse.
Dominic FC fought back before halftime when Olusegun Feranmi calmly converted a penalty in the 42nd minute.
Moments after the break, Orize David took advantage of the goalkeeper being off his line, racing through to score and level the aggregate score at 2-2.
With neither side able to find a winner, the contest was settled via penalties. Dominic FC emerged victorious 6-5 in a tense shootout to secure their Round of 16 ticket.
