David Ogah Olatunde made the starting line up as FK LACI played 1-1 draw against AF Elbasani in the opening round of the 2026/27 Albanian Kategoria Superiore season.
The Nigerian right winger played 68 minutes before being substituted as the hosts battled to recover from a one-goal deficit.
The match at Stadiumi Laçi was goalless at half-time but AF Elbasani broke the deadlock in the 56th minute, with Rubin Hebaj converting a penalty to put the visitors ahead.
David Ogah Olatunde and the rest of his teammates at Fk Laçi responded with increased attacking pressure, and the hosts eventually found the breakthrough in the 85th minute when Orgi Cena scored the equaliser.
The 1-1 draw ensured Laçi began their league campaign with a point, while David Ogah Olatunde completed 68 minutes on his first appearance in Albania’s top flight.
