Super Falcons goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has completed a permanent transfer to Crystal Palace Women from Portsmouth, signing a two-year contract with the Women’s Super League (WSL) club until June 2028.

The 21-year-old Nigerian goalkeeper joins Crystal Palace ahead of the 2026/27 WSL season, as the club strengthens its goalkeeping options following her impressive development at Portsmouth.

Erhabor began her professional career with Brighton & Hove Albion before gaining valuable first-team experience during loan spells with Hibernian, Plymouth Argyle and Portsmouth.

Her performances at Portsmouth earned her a permanent move to Crystal Palace, where she will compete for a place in the squad while continuing her development in one of Europe’s leading women’s football leagues.

The Nigeria international’s transfer further increases the presence of Super Falcons players in the WSL this season.

Erhabor will be joined by fellow Nigerian internationals Chiamaka Nnadozie of Brighton & Hove Albion and Rofiat Imuran of Aston Villa, giving Nigerian football fans several players to follow in England’s top-flight women’s league.

Nnadozie is expected to feature when Brighton host Arsenal on Sunday, while Erhabor could make her Crystal Palace debut against Everton at Selhurst Park.

Imuran and Aston Villa, meanwhile, face a challenging away fixture against Chelsea on Saturday.
