Osimhen: Galatasaray Cut Asking Price Amid Fresh Interest

Galatasaray have reportedly reduced their asking price for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to €65m amid renewed interest from Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal.

According to Turkish outlet Haberler, citing Sky Sports, Al Hilal have contacted the Turkish champions to establish the conditions for a potential deal for the Nigerian international.

Osimhen only recently completed a permanent transfer to Galatasaray from Napoli following a successful loan spell at the Istanbul club.

However, Galatasaray are reportedly willing to consider selling the 27-year-old if their €65m valuation is met.

The final decision could still rest with Osimhen, with Al Hilal needing to convince the striker to move to Saudi Arabia while also reaching an agreement with Galatasaray.

Al Hilal are reportedly considering changes to their attacking options to create room for Osimhen, with Karim Benzema potentially leaving the club.

The Saudi side are expected to intensify negotiations with Osimhen’s representatives in the coming days as they explore the possibility of bringing the prolific striker to the Saudi Pro League.

Osimhen has established himself as a key figure at Galatasaray since arriving in Turkey, scoring 59 goals in 74 appearances for the club.

Should he remain in Istanbul, the Nigerian forward will be expected to spearhead Galatasaray’s bid for a third consecutive Turkish Super Lig title.

The club, however, faces increased competition after several rivals strengthened their squads, with Trabzonspor reportedly adding Mohamed Salah alongside Paul Onuachu, while Fenerbahce have bolstered their attack with Mason Greenwood and Romelu Lukaku.

For now, Osimhen’s future remains uncertain, with Galatasaray prepared to listen to offers that meet their €65m valuation and Al Hilal pushing to test the striker’s willingness to make the switch to Saudi Arabia.
