John Dosu Set for Kallon FC Move as FC Sierra Leone Biggest Club is Keen on Goalkeeper Trainer
Renowned Nigerian goalkeeper trainer John Dosu is on the verge of joining Sierra Leone Premier League side FC Kallon, Sportsbeat.ng exclusively gathered
Sources close to the negotiations revealed that talks between Dosu and the club’s president, Mohamed Kallon, are at an advanced stage, with both parties keen to finalize the agreement before the start of the new season in August.
‘ If the move is completed, Dosu will take charge of the club’s goalkeeping department, bringing with him a wealth of experience in player development and elite goalkeeping coaching, ” disclosed the source.
The former professional goalkeeper has built a strong reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading goalkeeper trainers over the past decade.
He has previously worked with clubs including Inter Lagos, Shooting Stars SC and MFM FC, helping develop several goalkeepers who have gone on to represent the Super Eagles and secure moves abroad.
Among the notable goalkeepers who have worked under Dosu are Adebayo Adeleye, Ojo Olorunleke, Dele Alampasu and Kayode Bankole.
FC Kallon, one of Sierra Leone’s most prominent football clubs, compete in the country’s top-flight league and are owned by former Sierra Leone international Mohamed Kallon.
The club is looking to strengthen its technical setup ahead of the upcoming campaign, with Dosu identified as a key addition.
An official announcement is expected once both parties conclude the remaining details of the agreement.
