Dynamic Athletics founder and meet organizer, Olabanji Ayegbusi, confirmed that the World Athletics-listed competition has sparked significant interest in the region.

Athletes from participating countries have expressed their enthusiasm through emails and other communication channels, indicating strong readiness for the upcoming event.

As the 2026 athletics season nears its conclusion, many competitors view this meet as a prime opportunity to conclude their campaigns on a high note.

Participants aim to deliver outstanding performances, achieve personal bests, and enhance their world rankings.

The Dynamic Athletics Meet has established a solid reputation for fostering high-quality performances. Previous editions have produced world-leading marks, meeting records, and numerous personal bests.

This year’s competition is expected to uphold that tradition by offering a platform for both elite and emerging athletes to shine.

Ayegbusi has urged stakeholders to provide increased technical and financial support to ensure the successful staging of the championship.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating that the meet serves as a critical platform for expanding competition opportunities across the region.

“The Dynamic Athletics Meet belongs to everyone in the athletics family,” Ayegbusi remarked. “Athletes, coaches, former athletes, media practitioners, board members, technical officials, and track and field philanthropists all have roles to play in making it bigger and better.”

Additionally, he called on the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) and the National Sports Commission (NSC) to offer their support.

According to Ayegbusi, their involvement would significantly contribute to the growth and development of athletics in Nigeria and throughout West Africa.

Stay tuned for official competition dates and registration details, which will be announced shortly.
