Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso has officially announced its retained players for the 2026/2027 Nigerian National League (NNL) season, preseason programs as well as resumption date for the 2026/27 NNL season.
The club confirmed that pre-season preparations will resume on Monday, July 20, 2026.
In a statement released by the club’s management, 15 retained players must report to camp before training begins.
This early resumption aims to ensure adequate preparation for a successful campaign in the upcoming league season. The club seeks to make a strong impact in the NNL, emphasizing the importance of readiness.
Additionally, the management revealed plans for an open screening exercise for new players starting on the same date. This initiative offers talented footballers a chance to compete for squad positions ahead of the highly anticipated 2026/2027 NNL season.
The retained players include Oyetunde Samuel Lekan, Fabode Olaitan, Oyedeji Samuel Dada, Francis Saviour, Olayiwola Habeeb, Alebiosu Tunde, Adegbola Samson, Olayiwola Waliu, Saka Abdullahi, Gherefun Ganiu, Abdullahi Akeem, Emmanuel David Okoye, Ajala Damilola, Moradeyo Abel, and Mohammed Saeed. The club welcomes back these athletes as crucial components of their strategy for the season.
