The 21st edition of the esteemed Lagos Supremacy Cup is set to take place from November 9th through 12th at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
This four-day grassroots football event will operate from 7 AM to 2 PM each day, showcasing eight teams competing for the championship title under the tournament’s renowned motto: “8 Teams! One Supremo! One Trophy!”
The scouting tournament has established itself as one of Nigeria’s most reliable venues for youth football advancement and talent identification over its history.
This year’s edition will maintain its distinctive structure with the slogan “No Offside!!! Operation Mark Your Man!!!”, a regulation intended to promote offensive play, competitive physicality, and goal-rich matches.
Wale Joseph, representing the organizing committee, commented that the 21st edition will be more expansive and rigorous: “The Lagos Supremacy Cup transcends being merely a tournament; it represents a movement. We have consistently provided young Nigerian footballers with visibility. This year, we are elevating expectations to guarantee that exceptional talents receive the recognition they merit.”
A significant feature of the competition will be the involvement of scouts and sports directors from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, France, Brazil, Switzerland, and the UAE, providing competing athletes with opportunities to pursue international professional careers.
Given the participation of premier grassroots organizations and international scouts, the 2026 Lagos Supremacy Cup is anticipated to deliver four days of compelling competition.
