Four players have withdrawn from the squad for the assignment. Ashleigh Plumptre and Asisat Oshoala have been excused, while Oluwatosin Demehin and Flourish Sabastine are unavailable because of resident-permit issues.

Several key members of the squad are still expected to join the camp, including goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Michelle Alozie, Christy Ucheibe, Toni Payne, Jennifer Echegini, captain Rasheedat Ajibade, Gift Monday, Joy Omewa, Janet Akekoromowei and Uchenna Kanu.

Nigeria will face Comoros in the first leg on Friday, October 9, before the return fixture on Tuesday, October 13. Both matches will be played at the Remo Stars Sports Stadium in Ikenne.
