Morocco 2026: Flamingos FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Opponents Revealed
Nigeria’s Flamingos have been drawn in Group B of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026 following the official draw conducted at FIFA Headquarters in Zurich.
The six-time African champions will battle defending champions Korea DPR, European side Poland and tournament debutants Puerto Rico for a place in the knockout stage of the expanded 24-team competition.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup will be staged in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November 2026, with 24 nations competing across six groups.

Nigeria secured qualification for the global showpiece after defeating Algeria in the final round of the African qualifiers and will be aiming for another impressive outing on the world stage.
The Flamingos have established themselves as one of the strongest teams in the competition in recent years, winning bronze medals at the 2022 and 2024 editions. They will, however, face a stern test in Group B, with reigning champions Korea DPR expected to be their toughest opponents.
Hosts Morocco will open the tournament on 17 October, while the final is scheduled for 7 November.
The top two teams from each of the six groups, along with the four best third-placed teams, will progress to the Round of 16 as the race for the world title begins in Morocco.
